Show a presentation

The Presentations panel, next to Scriptures, keeps slides that you design. Some examples are announcements, a welcome, or the points of a sermon. Each slide shows as designed, with its own background, text, and pictures.

  1. Click a presentation to see its slides.
  2. Click a slide to show it in the preview.
  3. Double-click the slide, or push Enter, to send it live.

The arrow keys then move through the slides. The slides show under the Preview and Live monitors, so you can click each of them.

Right-click a presentation to edit, duplicate, or delete it, or to add it to the schedule.

Make a presentation

To make a new presentation, click + in the Presentations tab bar.

In the presentation editor, the slides are at the left. You can add text boxes, pictures, rectangles, and ellipses to a slide.

  • Click an element to select it.
  • Drag an element to move it.
  • Drag a corner of an element to change its size.
  • Double-click a text box to change its words.

At the right of the editor, you can set these items:

  • The font, size, color, alignment, and spacing of the text
  • Bullets or numbers, the indent, and the space between paragraphs
  • A shadow, a glow, an outline, and a picture texture inside the letters of a text box
  • A fill, a gradient, round corners, and an outline for a shape
  • A blur, round corners, and color changes for a picture
  • How each element blends with what is under it, such as multiply or overlay, and its opacity and turn
  • The background of the slide.

To style some words differently, such as one word in a different color, select the words in the text field. Then click Style the selected words.

A picture background can have these color changes: brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, grayscale, sepia, invert, and a gradient map.

Import from ProPresenter

  1. In the Presentations tab bar, click Import.
  2. Select ProPresenter 7 files: .probundle files or .pro files. You can select many files at one time.

A slide with a verse and its reference, such as a slide named Scripture, becomes a theme in Themes. The verses that you show then use its look. The other slides of the file become a presentation in Presentations. If each slide of the file has a verse and its reference, the file gives only themes and no presentation. The pictures and videos of the slides go to Media.

FlowCast downloads the fonts of the slides from Google Fonts the first time. FlowCast keeps the fonts on the computer, so the slides show in those fonts without an internet connection. A font that Google Fonts does not have, such as a font you bought, shows only when it is installed on the computer.

FlowCast cannot import ProPresenter 6 files.

Import and export FlowCast bundles

A FlowCast bundle holds themes and presentations with their pictures. A bundle is a .flowcasttheme file, or a folder with a bundle.json file.

  • To share themes or presentations, right-click them, then click Export….
  • To import a bundle, click Import in the Themes or Presentations tab bar.

An imported item with the id of an item that you already have replaces that item.

An AI can write a bundle from pictures of slides or from their Photoshop files. To copy the guide for the AI, click the sparkles button in the tab bar. Then give the AI the guide and the slides.
